Event Description

The luncheon serves to honor six extraordinary women with the Rachel Carson Award, a prestigious award bestowed upon women who have made great advances in the area of environmental conservation on a global and local scale. This year’s honorees include Dr. Sylvia Earle (National Geographic Explorer, former Presidential advisor on marine environment and inspiration behind Google Oceans), Sally Jewell (CEO, Recreational Equipment), Elizabeth Putnam (President/Founder of Student Conservation Association) and Elizabeth Colleton, Jane Evans and Susan Haspel (all NBC Universal’s “Green is Universal” initiative).

Tickets:

Prices range from $200 -- $2500 for individuals and $5,000 -- $50,000 for a table of 10. For more information, please call 212-874-5457
