BCL Supper Club -- Screening of BEYOND OIL

Brooklyn Creative League Supper Club is an event for independent professionals --and those thinking (or just dreaming) about making the leap -- and anyone else interested in sharing their skills, ideas and interests in urban sustainability.

Special Screening of BEYOND OIL

This month we will showing a short documentary Beyond Oil in conjunction with Sierra Club.

Top kill, booms, cement caps -- it's been difficult to follow all of the details of the oil disaster in the Gulf Coast. The stories that have been hardest to track though are those of people whose lives have been devastated due to BP's negligence. Sierra Club worked with Brave New Films on Beyond Oil a mini-documentary that profiles people impacted in the Gulf and gives a first hand account of the disaster.

It should be a great night of shared food and ideas. Don't forget to RSVP online (and let us know if you'll be bringing food.)!

COST: If you bring a dish to share you get in Free!
If you don't want to cook, or don't have time, tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door

WHAT TO BRING: • Your favorite local, organic, seasonal vegan or vegetarian dish to share • Your favorite beverage to complement the delicious meal (we won't force you to share your drink, but you can if you want - and yes, beer and wine are ok!)
