Event Description

High School for Public Service Compost Workday!

Please join bk farmyards for their first work day for the High School for Public Service Youth Farm!

They will be starting the season with building the composting system, building a series of containers to turn food scraps and other organic matter into black gold to nourish our farm.

The workday will start with a short workshop on composting, what, why and how.

Please bring gloves if you have them, closed toe shoes, and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
