Event Description

Lower East Side Ecology Center Historic Sites Bike Tour.
The historic tour will pass by our locations, include a presentation on each site's history and the current programs offered, and will conclude at Governor's Island for a waterside picnic.

Bring bike and lunch

Meet at Union Square, next stop is our E 7th Street Community Garden and then ride down to East River Park and the compost processing facility. Then hop on the Manhattan Greenway and bike to the Governor's Island Ferry, for a free ride to Governor's Island and a riverside picnic.
