Event Description

Much Ado About Mulching

Join the Manhattan Compost Project and Tompkins Square's Garden Expert, Michael Lytle, for a composting and mulching basics class.

The class will begin with an indoor lecture and then move outside into Tompkins Square Park for some hands-on demonstrations of mulching and other sustainable lawn care techniques. Outdoor composting bins will be available for purchase at reduced prices.

Registration required. Workshop fee: $5 cash.
