 et price.\n\n\nBased in Brooklyn, BK Farmyards transforms under-utiliz
 ed land into tasty edible landscapes. We partner with homeowners, scho
 ols, developers, and community members to build micro-farms and distri
 bute produce weekly. Not only can the community follow the food from s
 eed to table, they are helping us build a much-needed alternative to t
 he abundance of cheap processed foods and fast-food restaurants. We re
 ly exclusively on the power of volunteers and the endless energy of th
 e bk team instead of gas-guzzling machinery. We strive to make our foo
 d so affordable that anyone can access fresh food.\n\nAmong bk Farmyar
 ds's projects they are partnering with the High School for Public Serv
 ice in Crown Heights / East Flatbush to start the 1-Acre Farmyard!\n\n
 This farm will be one of the only fresh food sources in the neighborho
 od. You can come celebrate with us at our spring and fall harvest fest
 ivals when we close down Kingston Avenue for a block party!\n\nYour do
 nations will help with the development of a Youth Farm that empowers t
 he students to become leaders in their community. This is truly the gi
 ft that keeps on giving; once in place, the farmyard will continue to
