Tree Stewardship Workshop
New street trees have been planted on Third Avenue between East 82nd and 96th streets.
Join CIVITAS and Trees New York to learn how to care for neighborhood trees and ensure their survival.
Participants will learn tree care basics and receive toolkits to aid their stewardship efforts. The toolkit includes: a trowel, cultivator, weeder, gloves, and one bucket or hose per person.
When registering, please indicate whether you would like a hose or a bucket with your toolkit.
The historic Arsenal Building, a New York City landmark, was completed in 1851 and is one of two buildings within Central Park that predate the park itself. It is now home to the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.
