Interested in Cool Roofs?

Hey, wouldn't it be great to cool down NYC? Wouldn't it be great to send the suns rays right back through the greenhouse gases instead letting them get absorbed and contribute to global warming and the urban heat island effect?

Well, the chance is here and the NYC Cool Roofs project is making it happen!

This pilot project is based in Long Island City, but it's worth checking out, investigating what the process is, and considering what this kind of effort would look like in Flatbush.

Throw on your dungarees, sunscreen, long sleeves and sunglasses and Please JOIN US ON THE ROOF!! Weekday volunteers are especially needed this week and next. The end date has been extended to OCT 15th.
