Hey everyone! I am new to Green NYC and I am moving back to Brooklyn soon. I am looking for a place to live starting next month or over the summer (I have a somewhere to stay til the right place comes along.) I have a cat (and a job), and I'd love to live with some easygoing people who are doing a little gardening and composting, and who have access to an outdoor space. Please let me know if you know of anyone who might be searching for a roommate. I will be working in Manhattan, so living near the L would be great. Thanks! Shevaun- yogamassagesk@yahoo.com

If you're interested in a CSA egg share, the Southside CSA has shares available for 4 weeks starting Nov. 9th. The eggs are really fresh!
Pick-ups are Mondays at Bridget on Broadway @ Kent. Contact southsidecsa@gmail.com for details.

Hi all,
I received a note about this food meeting from the Southside CSA:
GREENPOINT COMMUNITY FOOD MEETING
Anyone in Greenpoint and Williamsburg who is interested in food justice, access, sustainability and security is invited! This first meeting will be a chance for people who are working on food issues in the neighborhood and those who would like to be more involved to meet, share experiences, and talk about how we can pool our resources and knowledge to build on the amazing food activism that is already taking place here and to talk about how we can connect with food activists in other Brooklyn neighborhoods.
DATE & TIME: Thursday, September 24th 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Lutheran Church of the Messiah 129 Russell Street (btw. Nassau and Driggs)
For more information, check out http://brooklynfoodconference.org/
