'Tis the Season for Neighborhood Supper Clubs

This summer our in-home Supper Clubs will be focusing on how to grow, eat & process food that is as-local-as-can-be! Folks from all over the city are inviting their neighbors in to share potluck meals & learn about everything from community gardens & window boxes to homemade pickles & blackberry jam!

JOIN IN!
We're always looking for hosts, teachers & eaters. A Supper Club can be an intimate gathering in your kitchen, a feast in a community garden, or anything in between. Write Erika (Erika@GreenEdgeNYC.org ) to join in!

There are Supper Clubs in the works in Park Slope, South Brooklyn, Crown Heights, Fort Green, Red Hook, Downtown Brooklyn, Union Square, Greenpoint, & Queens. If there isn't already an active Supper Club in your neighborhood, we're here to help you start one!

Thanks for a Great Supper Club!

On Sunday March 30th, Daniel Tainow, Compost Project Coordinator, and Julia Corwin, Compost Project Instructor, from Queens Botanical Garden gave an informative workshop on composting in urban homes. The session was very informative about compost and worm "condos" - there were lots of great discussions about reducing our waste! Thanks Daniel and Julia!
